How we work
Midford Legal Consultants is a virtual-first law firm. We handle the full matter lifecycle remotely — intake by phone, WhatsApp, or the online form; advice calls by phone or video; documents shared and signed electronically where the law permits; and matter status tracked through the client portal.
This model is not a cost-cutting measure. It removes the friction that has historically made legal help inaccessible — travel time, office hours, waiting rooms. A client in Polokwane receives the same quality of service as a client in Cape Town. The only requirement is that you can make a phone call or send a WhatsApp message.
What we handle
We work across five practice areas: repossession defence under the National Credit Act, labour disputes and CCMA referrals, property matters (evictions and transfers), deceased estate administration through the Master's process, and general legal advice including letters of demand and contract review.
We do not handle criminal law, family law, or complex commercial litigation. Referrals to appropriate specialists are made where a matter falls outside our scope — and we are upfront about this from the first contact.
Our approach
We believe that a client who understands what is happening in their matter makes better decisions and experiences less anxiety. Every matter comes with clear communication: what the process is, what we are doing, what you need to do, and what to expect next.
We do not guarantee outcomes — the law does not allow this, and any firm that does so is misleading you. What we do guarantee is that your matter will be handled competently, on time, and with full transparency about cost.
